HAWKS ARRESTED ANOTHER FOUR COMMITEE ON TALANI PROJECT FRAUD.

The Hawks’ Serious Corruption Investigation Members arrested another four bid committee members between the ages of (35) and (43) from Housing Development Agency in Johannesburg on Friday, 18 December 2020. This arrest was made over the involvement of alleged 2.4 million fraud on Talani Temporary Housing Units Project.
The suspects reportedly vouched for Aventino Group CC Company to construct the Housing Units, without thoroughly checking the validity of documents that were relented. It is further stated that the Housing Units did not adhere to the design and specifications.
Limpopo Hawks Spokesperson, Captain Matimba Maluleke says this will bring a total number of arrested suspects to seven. The initial suspects are Project Manager, Raymond Maoto (35) from the Housing Development Agency and Director of Aventino Group CC Company. Constance Mohlala (44)
Captain Maluleke says they are expected to appear before Tzaneen Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 21 December 2020 to face multiple charges.
