Premier of Limpopo, Stanley Chupu Mathabatha warns the residents about the resurgence of coronavirus in the province. This after the province has recorded an increased number of the infections in four local municipalities. The four affected municipalities are Polokwane, Thulamela, Makhado and Thabazimbi. It is said that these are as a results of Soccer tournament, Street bashes, After tears gatherings, Weddings, Church services, and Drinking sprees at taverns.
Premier Mathabatha says they are reiterating their clarion call for society to treat this year’s festive season differently. He urges that parents are requested to take a full responsibility of youth’s actions.
He says that events should be limited and attended by close family, friends and a limited number of relatives
He further says that everyone should always wear a mask, exercise, social distance and practice health hygiene.
