LIMPOPO: Premier Chupu Stanley Mathabatha and his Members of Executive Council will visit Phalaborwa areas mainly Namakgale Taxi Rank, Namakgale, Ba-Phalaborwa Local Manucipality on the 22 July 2021, at 12H00 afternoon. This will happen generally at the Mopani District with the purpose to monitor peace and stability.
This emanated from the resolution by the Special Executive Committee meeting together with the subsequent assessment on the state of affairs at Moutse Mall and surrounding areas. Based on the past week unrest, Limpopo taxi organization defended the Polokwane CBD from the would-be looters and any form of destruction of property. The government appreciates efforts of made by the Taxi Associations, also the citizens, political leaders, Traditional Leaders, Faith Based organizations, Civil Society Movements for vigorously spreading the message of peace during the past weeks.
