Actor and producer Aaron Arthur “Shona” Ferguson has passed away at age 47 due to covid complications on Friday afternoon. In a statement released by the Ferguson films account on Instagram, the public were asked to give the family some space to process their painful loss. “Mr Ferguson’s untimely passing was due to Covid-19 related complications, and not a heart operation…”, the statement confirmed.
Shona Ferguson had been admitted at Milpark hospital and was married to actress Connie Ferguson, the two were business partners and co-founders of “Ferguson Films”. Mr Ferguson who was referred to many as “Uncle Sho” has acted in a number of productions such as Generations, The Wild, Rockville, The Kings of Joburg and more.
Furthermore the released Ferguson film statement concludes by adding that “more details will be shared in due course”.
