Residents expressed concern over bad living conditions at Mamadimo Park outside Polokwane under Mankweng Cluster , ward 25 with service delivery being the burning issue.
Community members say the Municipality failed to assist them and their concerns were not taken into consideration for the past years hence numerous meetings were held in engaging with officials yet nothing was implemented also ward councillor not responding to their grievances.
Speaking on HeitaFM, The Ultimate Talk, a community leader says sewage spills, waste, water supply , street lights , proper roads are amongst some of the challenges they face. “Our children’s lives are at risk because they have to cross unbearable roads to Schools everyday and during rainy days it’s a no go area” said Community leader.
Furthermore, community leader says they would like to see changes after the local government elections set to take place on the 1st November. He says whoever will be elected as their Councillor should prioritize for their basic services and consider developing the community from building a local school, clinic, proper roads amongst others.
