Limpopo Premier Chupu Stanley Mathabatha has officially launched Nkuna City today, 07 October 2021 which is being developed at Nkuzana Village under the jurisdiction of Collins Chabane Local Municipality.
Nkuna City is the latest brainchild of Dr Mike Nkuna which is in direct response to the pronouncement made at the 2020 State of the National Address by President Ramaphosa to develop post-apartheid Smart Cities and Towns.
Nkuna City is a socio-economic investment with an estimated value of R1.5 billion and is comprised of massive job creation, such as Shopping Centre, Value Retails, Public Garage, Hospital, Educational Facilities, Sport Facility, and Business Sites.
Premier of Limpopo Provincial Government, Mr Chupu Stanley Mathabatha has affirmed Nkuna City as a game changer catalytic project that promotes and supports radical socio-economic transformation, modernisation and industrialisation of the rural economy.
Founder and Executive Chairman of Masingita Group of Companies, Dr Mike Nkuna says the support provided by the Limpopo Provincial Government is a testimony that government is committed to working with investors to improve the socio—economic conditions of their people, particularly those living in rural areas.
Dr Nkuna further says the first phase of NkunaCity has already commenced on the 14th of April 2021 and the expected completion date is April 2022.
