The murder case against Nancy Majonhi aged 42 was postponed by the Magwase Magistrate court to the 9th of November 2021 for medical attention and mental evaluation.
In relation to her mental evaluation,the medical report indicates that she is a threat to the society and she will remain in hospital under severe observation on an effort to improve on her mental status before her next court appearance.
Police reports reveal that Nancy Majonhi was staying with her husband, Prosper Chipungare aged 44 at a rented room in Ledig near Sin City where they had a fight on Tuesday, 28 July 2015.
Mojonhi allegedly assaulted her husband with a hammer until he fainted.She then hacked him with a spade and threw the body parts into three different pit latrines.
An investigation by the police is underway following the retrieval of skull and bones which are currently subjected to DNA tests.
