South Africa is currently experiencing the high number of criminal offense day in and day out from different aspect.
A 55 year-old male suspect will appear before Seshego Magistrate court on Thursday 10 April 2025 facing a murder charge of a 34 year-old female victim committed at Moletjie, Ga-Chokoe village under Seshego precinct.
On Sunday 06 April 2025 at about 02:30, police received a complaint about a murder incident in the area and rushed to the scene.
On arrival, found the family member of a 34 year-old woman who was found lying on the street with multiple severe injuries on the upper body.
The Emergency Medical Services personnel were summoned to the scene and the woman was certified dead on their arrival.
A murder case was opened and preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect was a 55 year-old boyfriend of the deceased.
A massive manhunt for the suspect commenced and he was traced and subsequently apprehended on Tuesday 08 April 2025 at about 09:00 in Moletji, Ga-Mphela village.
The motive of the incident is currently unknown at this stage but domestic violence can not be ruled out.Police investigations are continuing.
