Arsenal coach revealed that they lost because of change of ball

The Gunners suffered a shocking defeat yesterday against Newcastle United during EFL cup first leg.

Arsenal went first half goal down after Conceding on 37th minute and they went on to conced another goal on second half on 51st minutes.

After yesterday’s results Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta revealed a shocking statement why his side ended up losing the fixture at home ground.

Arteta went on to blame the decision why the officials changed balls (using puma balls instead of Adidas ball) and he emphasized that it might be the reason why they have lost the game.

When asked about what he can tell/motivate his players after their defeat Arteta revealed that he has nothing to say.

Arteta said “Nothing, just try and show them, give them kicks or tips of what they can do better.

“We also kicked a lot of balls over the bar, and it’s tricky that these balls fly a lot so there’s details that we can do better.

“But at the end that’s gone, there’s no way back, it’s about the next game and that’s our world, the reality is our world.”

Most of time in England they use Nike balls as the main sponsor for the national team and yesterday was different ball.

Arteta said “It’s just different. Very different to a Premier League ball, and you have to adapt to that because it flies different. When you touch it the grip is very different as well so you adapt to that.”

Arteta together with his troops will be hoping to get to a winning ways when they will be facing Manchester United on Sunday 12th January for FA Cup round 3 and kickoff set at 17:00.

After their Sunday’s fixture they(Arsenal) will be welcoming Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday 15th January for EPL fixture and kickoff set at 22:00.
