English Premier League side Brighton & Holve Albion will have to play their upcoming fixtures without one of their reliable striker.
Head coach of the club Fabian Hürzeler confirmed that one of his trusted soldier EVAN FERGUSON sustained ankle injury.
During the past three fixtures Brighton played they have felt the presence of the Irish striker as the coach doesn’t have clue when the target man might return.
According to head coach Hürzeler the Irish international might take more weeks before he returns and he hope his(Evan Ferguson) injury doesn’t take too long.
Hürzeler said “Evan is doing okay, not perfectly, but he is doing okay. I think it will take some more weeks until he returns.
“I hope it goes faster, but I cannot say clearly when he will be back, so we have to be patient.”
Ferguson hasn’t featured for Brighton since coming off the bench against West Ham on 21 December.
Ferguson has been linked with a loan move away from the Seagulls this month, with West Ham United, Bournemouth, Arsenal and Fulham among the clubs reportedly interested.
His latest injury setback will have Ireland boss Heimir Hallgrímsson stress-out ahead of their Nations League promotion/relegation play-off against Bulgaria in March.
