City of Johannesburg set to host 2nd African Forum on Urban Forest from 18-21 March

The City of Johannesburg (CoJ), in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), and the Centre on African Public Spaces (CAPS), is proud to host the 2nd African Forum on Urban Forests (AFUF) from 18–21 March 2025.

According to the statement released by City of Johannesburg; the meeting will be held at Campus in Bryanston with the final day held at the Diepsloot Memorial Park.

The details of the meeting has been shared through media Statement released by the City of Johannesburg.

As African cities face challenges of climate change, this dialogue plays a significant role in interrogating issues around environmental management, economic opportunities and more.

As we know that most of African countries will be affected by the cut of funds from United State of America.

Soo far only three countries from Africa have been affected by the decision that is been took by U.S president.

It is now time for Africa to unite and start working together for bettering their lives and change the lives of Citizens.

It is reported that all different media/ publication stakeholders are invited to attend the press.
