Southern African region have improved their standards in terms of developing their soccer as they geared up their number in the upcoming AFCON.
In the Previous years the COSAFA region were less represented in the prestigious tournament (AFCON) as they were usually having 2 or 3 countries.
South Africa emerges as the only successful country from COSAFA region to be crowned as the Champions of the competition.
In next years competition (AFCON) in Morocco the region will be represented by 7 countries include Zimbabwe(who were burned by FIFA) in the past.
Here is the full list of COSAFA region countries that will be at AFCON 2025:
🇦🇴 Angola, 🇧🇼 Botswana, 🇿🇦 South Africa, 🇰🇲 Comoros, 🇲🇿 Mozambique, 🇿🇲 Zambia, 🇿🇼 Zimbabwe.
