Former Bafana Bafana and Ajax Amsterdam in Netherlands have a successful speel of career in Europe.
Thulani Serero gave hi thoughts regarding why South African strikers most of them find it difficult to adjust at top leagues.
According to the former Bafana Bafana Midfielder most of the players/strikers are not mentally fit and not will to put extra effort into their training.
Serero on his thoughts he shared that those players from overseas sometimes use their speartime just to keep their body fit.
He said “They train harder, even during their personal time. These players will wake up early to jog, practice, and refine their skills, always aiming to be the best.”

Serero observed that African players, including those in the PSL, often lack the same level of dedication.
He said “Some players here are quick to complain about game time instead of using their free time to improve themselves. That’s where the difference is.”
Serero went on to state that even the best PSL strikers would struggle to make a significant impact in Europe.
He said “Scoring 13 goals in 38 games in leagues like the EPL is extremely tough, and I don’t think many PSL strikers are prepared for that level of competition.”
It’s been awhile since PSL produced player who went overseas and Excell in the European top 5 leagues.
The only player who plays for top league in Europe is the former Orlando Pirates striker Lyle Foster who plays for Burnely FC at Championship in England.
