Former Uruguayan International striker Luis Suarez will continue to play his trade in United States League (MSL).
Former Barcelona striker ‘Maloma-lomane’ has recently extended his contract with Inter Miami by signing One year contract.
Even though some details were not public shared regarding his contract, Suarez on his first season earned $1.5 million.
Suarez proved why he deserved such amount of money as he recked in a total of 20 goals where he scored the exact number of goals as Lionel Messi.
Suarez on his first season in Major Soccer League, he managed to score a total number of 25 goals across all competitions.
After extending his stay with Miami, Uruguayan striker expressed his desire to wear the pink kit and revealed that their fans are like their own family.
Suarez said “I’m very happy, very excited to continue for another year and to be able to enjoy being here with this fanbase, which for us is like family.
“We feel very, very connected with them, and hopefully, next year, we can bring them even more joy.”
Inter Miami set MLS records for Seventy-four (74) points, where the club managed to secure Twenty-Two(22) wins, Four (4) draws and Eight (8) loses and won Supporters Shield.
Suarez’s staying at Inter Miami will make him a fifth man from Barcelona to wear Pink kit, other players who previously played for Barcelona are Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba including new manager Javier Mascherano.
Javier Mascherano appointment was announced on Tuesday by the club via their club’s website.
