Former Abafana be sethende winger Andile Fikizolo who didn’t announced his retirement from football.
Fikizolo has now joined the coaching industry as he is working as development coach for Arrows feder side.
His side is currently taking part at Hollywoodbets Regional League where it produce players for club’s senior and reserve squads.
Golden Arrows club’s media officer Comfort Thusi confirmed that the club and former player are working together.
He said “He’s managing our SAB team, It’s been like over a month now, we’re approaching two months now working with him.”
Fikizolo secured himself a deal with top elite side after the season of 2013/14 campaign after having a steller performance during Nedbank Cup.
During the Nedbank Cup last 32, Fikizolo was instrumental for Thanda Royal Zulu where he grabbed brace against Orlando Pirates.
His brace helped his side to force a match to be decided by penalty shootout and unfortunately they lost via penalty shootout.
At the beginning of the 2014/15 season, Fikizolo made the move to SuperSport United, having caught the eye with his performances for the now-defunct Amabhubesi in the second-tier.
His stint at SuperSport United was short-lived, lasting only six months. Seeking more playing time, he returned to his home province of KwaZulu-Natal, joining Arrows on loan.
That season, under the guidance of coach Shaun Bartlett, he played a crucial role in helping the Durban based side secure promotion to the top-flight.
Fikizolo stayed with Abafana Bes’thende, while he was on loan from Matsatsantsa A Petori until he joined KZN side on permanent deal in 2017.
Thereafter, he played for Royal Eagles and Bloemfontein Celtic before returning to Arrows for a second stint. His most recent club was Polokwane City FC last season.
