Bruce Bavuma who has fallen in terms of game time at Chiefs became hero when he made crucial saves during penalty shootout during CUFA cup.
Since then Amakhosi product was not afforded enough game time as Nabi preferred Ntwari and Petersen.
The former Chiefs defender Mokete Tsotetsi pleaded with Nabi together with his technical team to hand Bavuma game time.
He said “To be honest, it’s a big concern for me. But remember the goalkeeper has a big role to play.
“But it’s not only about the goalkeeper because the defence plays a big role and Chiefs have to work on finding the right combination at the back.
“It’s easy for goalkeepers to concede if the defence is not solid. It’s not a good look for a team like Chiefs to be conceding every game.
” I would like to see coach Nabi giving Bvuma a fair chance. Give him a few games and see how they can establish a solid defence.
“Going forward, Chiefs are good but they are lacking in defence and it’s something they need to work on. I feel that Bvuma can give Chiefs something.”
Kaizer Chiefs have conceded a total of nine goals in seven matches this season in the Betway Premiership.
On their previous fixture Chiefs thrown away their 2-0 goals to secure a point as they were held draw by Royal AM at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Nabi and his men will be hoping to change the situation when they will be in action on Sunday afternoon against Polokwane City.
