The Provincial Commissioner of police in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has directed the police to use the available resources to search for the the suspects who brutally murdered a woman and covered her body with a plastic bag.
The police report indicates that police in Tinmyne under Waterberg District were alerted to this gruesome discovery of a lifeless body of female victim who was found wrapped with a plastic bag under the bridge on Sunday 23 March 2025 at about 13:10.
The deceased was found by a passer-by who immediately went to the local police to report the incident.
According to the report, he went for prayer at the river under Mmamatlakala bridge when he discovered a lifeless body of a female victim covered with a black plastic bag on the grass under the bridge.
The Police rushed to the scene and upon arrival discovered a lifeless body of a woman wearing a red skirt in the bushes with no visible injuries. Her body was found in an advanced state of decomposition.

The motive of the incident is unknown at this stage and Postmortem analysis will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
The Police have opened a murder case and the deceased is currently unknown at the moment.
