Liverpool goalkeeper revealed he produced one of the best performance since joining the club

Liverpool FC have managed to secure important (1-0) win in France over Paris Saint Germany yesterday’s evening.

Even though the entire team didn’t perform well, there was only one player who saved side from being embarrassed.

Liverpool goalkeeper Alison Becker after the match revealed that he thinks he had fantastic night in France.

Alison said “It was probably the performance of my life, The manager was telling us how hard it would be to play against PSG, how good they are with the ball and that we would have to be ready to suffer.

“We knew what was coming. We worked hard. We gave away so many chances, sometimes one v one but the biggest part of the chase is having someone make the player with the chance think a bit more.”

On his conclusion Becker refused to take all glory alone as he acknowledged the work that is being put by his teammate to make things easy for him.

He said “All the efforts the team put in makes my job easier. Then at the end Harvey coming in and scoring the goal, it is a great story for us. A great night.”

Despite Alison’s refusal to take credit alone, his coach Arnie Slot praised the goalkeeper for keeping team alive and hand them victory.

Slot said “[Alisson] showed he is the best in the world today, To go away with a win here was probably a bit more than we deserved.”

Slot acknowledged that his side was not on top of their game as the opponent made their lives difficult and admitted that German side is strong this season.

He said “We were not under par, it was the pure quality of Paris Saint-Germain, the way they’ve played all season. All the underlying stats tell you they are the best team this season.”

Alison Becker together with his teammate will be hoping to continue with their fine form when they host Southampton on Saturday 8th March for EPL and kickoff set at 17:00.
