Magesi chairman refused to dwell too much into promises towards his employees

Moletsi based side Magesi FC owner Solly Makhubela emphasized that they will surprise their employees (team players and technical) if they want to do soo.

Magesi FC managed to reach the final of Carling Black Lable Cup on their first season in South African Football top elite.

Along their cue to the final Limpopo’s side knocked out teams such as Orlando Pirates, TS Galaxy, and Richards Bay FC.

Sello during his interview highlighted that as parents you don’t usually reveals what you do for your children’s if you want to give them surprise.

He said “Normally, when you want to surprise your own child, you don’t say it. So you’d rather keep the carrots, but you know the carrots will be there.

“If you say to your child if you pass, I give you this is not the same as if you say my boy if you pass, you’ll see my colour if I’m your father or I’m not your father.

“Normally this thing I don’t prefer, other people prefer it. But you know, sometimes these things you promise, and you didn’t talk to the technical team, you didn’t talk to the management, you didn’t sit together, and you are taking a decision.

“At the end of the day, when something is not going right, they come at the back and say to you, but you have decided alone, but you said the team belongs to us. Why didn’t you sit with us?”

Makhubela was speaking during a send-off ceremony organised by the Limpopo Tourism Agency at Meropa Casino on Thursday.

The winner of this year’s tournament will pocket R6.85 million, with the runner-up walking away with R2.85 million.

The match between Magesi and Sundowns will kick off at 18:00.
