Magesi FC coach revealed that they have not reached their best level of playing

Recently Magesi FC managed to secure maximum points during the Limpopo derby when they defeat Polokwane City 1-0.

Owen Da Gama managed to record his second win since he took over from dikwena tsa meetsi at the top flight.

The result saw Da Gama’s side move onto 14 points from 17 games, above suspended Royal AM in 15th place, a point adrift of Marumo Gallants and top-flight survival.

After helping his side to register third victory at Betway Premiership and Da Gama highlighted that they managed to monitor the strength of their opponents.

He said “I think it is a culmination of hard work and tactical acumen. I think we have approached both games so far solid and we made sure we understand their strengths and their weaknesses as well.

“I think we capitalised on that [and] all credit must go to the players. They are working hard and they want it badly.”

Owen Da Gama went on to highlight that he found his side dismantled but he managed to bring the stability back.

He said “When I got here the team was divided into groups, so I tried to fix that and get it right on the field.

“I think we have managed to move a step closer to where I think we can perform without pressure.

“There is still a lot of pressure, but at least there are good signs. It’s a good sign for me that we are on the right track, we’ve not arrived yet.”

Owen Da Gama together with his troops will be hoping to put more pressure on teams that are above them.

Magesi FC will be also hoping to collect more/ maximum points when they will be taking on Amazulu FC away from home on Saturday 22 February and kickoff set at 20:00.
