Mamelodi Sundowns are currently enjoy their best moment as they have extended their gap between themselves and number two with 15 points.
Over the weekend Bafana ba Style have collected full points after defeating Kaizer Chiefs by 1-0 scored by Lucas Rebiero.
Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso shared how video analyst play huge role in terms of how team must prepare for a particular event.
He said “I strive to be a thoughtful coach, It’s essential to maintain a proactive stance when approaching each match.
“There are specific strategies involved in how we play, which primarily relate to our overall playing style.
“Additionally, there are minor adjustments that must be communicated to the players concerning their roles in the match, particularly regarding the gameplay style they will encounter.

“I believe that this proactive approach was evident in our game against Kaizer Chiefs. I aim to be strategic when faced with challenges during the game, as I did against Chiefs by deploying numerous attacking players.
“This approach allowed us greater control of the ball, as sometimes you defend with the players and at other times, you defend using the system.”
Cardoso went on to highlight that he is type of coach who always opens up for the players and support them.
He aid “I always prioritize supporting the players as much as possible. I acknowledge that I can make mistakes in my efforts to assist them because I am human, and humans can not be always right.
“What I appreciate about my team is their hard work to shield me from my mistakes, which is remarkable to have in a team like this.”
Now it is going to be tricky and difficult time for Cardoso as he will have to be extra careful how he use the national players within his squad.
This month, Bafana Bafana will resume their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Benin, putting pressure on Cardoso to manage his national team players carefully due to the demanding schedule.
Speaking about the upcoming events for Bafana Bafana, Cardoso highlighted that he is aware about the upcoming World Cup qualifier.

He said “Regarding schedules, I have no control over them, but I recognize that the World Cup is a significant tournament for us globally, and particularly for South Africans and Africans.
“I accept these competition commitments, which complicate the schedule, and that is beyond my control as I have no influence on fixture arrangements.
“My responsibility is to manage the players as effectively as possible. While we have faith in all of them, we acknowledge that they are not all the same; we have national team players who need to excel to maintain their positions.”
On his closing statement Sundowns coach, underlined the importance of communication between the technical team from Bafana Bafana and his side and he also stressed out that those players needs much rest.
Cardoso said “Effective communication is vital, and we must ensure they receive sufficient rest whenever possible.
“The management of players involves substantial effort, not just on my part, but also from the entire club management team.”
Cardoso together with his troops will be hoping to collect maximum points when they take on Golden Arrows at Mpumalanga Stadium on Wednesday(5th March).
