The Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho is one of the most decorated and well experienced coach amongst the top managers.
Mourinho previous served on different clubs such as Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü (02/06/2024 – ongoing), AS Roma (01/07/2021 – 16/01/2024), Tottenham Hotspur FC (20/11/2019 – 19/04/2021), Manchester United FC (27/05/2016 – 18/12/2018), Chelsea FC (10/06/2013 – 17/12/2015), Real Madrid CF (01/07/2010 – 09/06/2013) and FC Internazionale Milano (02/06/2008 – 30/06/2010).
However Spanish tactician Pep Guardiola, has achieved more EPL title more than Jose Mourinho who won 3 times while Guardiola won it 6 times.
Pep Guardiola was asked at a press conference whether the gestures were comparable and whether it might also mark the end of an era for the Spanish coach.
He said “I hope not in my case… He won three, I won six.. but we are the same like that. We are together in the those situations.
“To make our fans know that we are much, much better than the people that sing that. It [the gesture] was just to make our fans feel that what we have done is extraordinary.
“I want to prove that we are an incredible football club. Sooner or later it’s going to be the end but I will try to extend as much as possible for the best of my club.”
Yesterday Manchester City managed to collect three points after losing 7 consecutive games and they are on 4th spot with 26 points.
They are currently trailing log leaders Liverpool by 9 points with both side played 14 games each, and their next fixture will be on 7th where Liverpool will visit Everton while Man City will visit Crystal Palace.
