Manchester City New player revealed the real reason why he joined the Club

Currently Pep Guardiola together with his troops are struggling as they are out of UEFA Champions League and Currently on 5th spot in England.

Guardiola boosted his squad with few signing and amongst them is Egyptian international Marmushi.

Last season they also made some changes there and there as they managed to acquire the service of 19 year old Claudio Echeverri on loan from River Plate in Argentina.

Echeverri joined the footsteps of his fellow country man such as Pablo Zabaleta, Carlos Tevez, Sergio Aguero, Willy Caballero, Nicolas Otamendi and Julian Alvarez.

And the attacking midfielder, who starred for his nation at the recent Under-20 South American Championship, detailed how a City and Argentina legend played an important role in his decision to join the Club.

The Argentina midfielder revealed why he ended up joining Manchester City at young age as he is.

Echeverri said “I’ve spoken to [Sergio] Aguero, I also talked to Martin Demichelis. They told me it [City] was a great club with amazing players and a beautiful history.

“I knew about it [the special relationship between Argentina and Manchester City]. Aguero, in particular, stands out.

“He’s a legend here at Manchester City because of everything he achieved and the incredible player he was.

“I used to watch him play and, honestly, it’s an amazing feeling to be here.”

Echeverri will become the 12th Argentinian to join the Club, following in the footsteps of many great players who have also helped City break records and stamp our mark in football history.

And despite his tender age, the teenager revealed that he is ready to make name for himself in the color of City and make history with the club.

Echeverri said “Yes I think so, Especially because of the players who have come here and done really well – Kun Aguero, Julian Alvarez, [Pablo] Zabaleta.

“They are all very important players who have played here. I’m at a great club with a lot of history.”

As things stand, Echeverri might made his debut for the City very soon as he is currently training with senior players.
