The Mogalakwena Local Municipality would like to clarify recent circulating news regarding alleged interrogations/questioning of senior officials.
The individuals in question are former employees from as far as five years ago, during the tenure of previous management when current administration under Municipal Manager, Mr Maluleka was not in charge and not associated with the municipality.
Current Municipal Manager, Mr Morris Maluleke has been diligently reporting to work, leading efforts to serve the community effectively.
Manager ensured the stakeholders that they will do everything in their power to provided services to their people.
Maluleke said “as i assures the public that our focus remains on delivering quality services, promoting transparency, and upholding accountability in our operations.
“We kindly urge the public and media to verify information through official channels before reporting to ensure accuracy and avoid spreading misinformation.”
The manager went on to emphasize how they are planning to achieve their goal and encourage the citizens to have hope on them.

Maluleke said “By doing so, we can work together to build trust and ensure that our community receives reliable and factual information about municipal activities and initiatives.
“Furthermore, we would like to emphasize the importance of responsible journalism and public discourse.”
Mr Maluleke wrapped up his statement by encouraging the media to stop writing negative things about the Municipality workers/top candidate.
He said “We urge all individuals and media outlets to refrain from mentioning names without concrete evidence and proper verification, as this can have serious consequences.
“Making unsubstantiated claims or accusations can lead to reputational damage and potentially result in legal action, including court cases for defamation or slander.”
