According to tennisworldusa.org: Novak Djokovic is family oriented guy who is always busy with other task beside playing tennis.
Publication stated: This week Djokovic at the 37 will be playing at clay season and play his sixth tournament of the year at the Monte Carlo Masters.
The Serbian tennis star made his debut back in 2006 while he was 18 years old and he didn’t have luck as he was knocked out early in the tournament.
Since his Monte Carlo debut, a lot has changed. On the court, Djokovic became a record 24-time Grand Slam champion and the only player ever with 400+ weeks at the world No. 1 spot.
He said “I do. I’d say I watch more highlights, to be honest, unless there is a really big match, an interesting match, or a Serbian player playing. Then I might watch a little more than just highlights.
“I’m occupied with other things and with family, kids, so I don’t watch full matches but I do obviously follow what’s happening in different tournaments.”
According to tinnesworld.org: Djokovic spoke several times about navigating between a tennis career and family life being tricky and challenging for a tennis player because of all the traveling.
While the 37-year-old’s obvious goal in the last couple of years had been to win the Slam race, he also wanted to spend some valuable time with his kids, who are going to school now.
With that being said, it’s not surprising that the former world No. 1 prefers to prioritize family over tennis when he is at home.
