Real Madrid coach says he don’t understand why people are busy saying his side doesn’t play eye-catching football

Real Madrid have now moved two points clear from Atletico Madrid and now seven points ahead of Barcelona.

Madrid collected full three points over the weekend when they thrashed UD Las Palmas by 4-1 where new player Kylian Mbappe scored brace.

After the match Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti revealed that he is surprised how people are busy saying his doesn’t play good football.

Ancelotti said “I am confused because I heard we played very poorly, yet here we are at the top of the league.

“I will continue to investigate where the criticisms are coming from. Today, we played a complete and rounded match, showcasing great quality and attitude. We started poorly, but I won’t let that alter our rhythm.

“I don’t want to say that we are the ones who play the best. Sometimes we play well and sometimes less well, but we play very badly. …. I don’t want to be told that the team isn’t well worked.

“Sometimes we have balance or not, more or less commitment, but nobody is perfect. I don’t see super teams playing fantastic football. We play taking into account the characteristics of the players we have.”

Madrid’s coach Carlo Ancelotti went to emphasize that people should stop doubting players and he is glad Mbappe is on top of his game right now.

He said “Mbappe has been a huge help to us because he’s in excellent form. The team’s collective effort has been commendable.

“We have achieved a necessary balance to navigate both good and challenging times.”

Carlo Ancelotti together with his troops will be hoping to continue where they left off when they defeat Palmas in their upcoming fixture where they will be up against RB Salzburg on Wednesday(22 January) for UEFA champion League and kick off set at 22:00.
