Real Valladolid coach believes new signing is ready to fight for his position

Just like any other club across the world, Real Valladolid entered the market with aim to secure backline.

Spanish side managed to capture the service of Joseph Aidoo from Celta Vigo on this current transfer window.

Even though his transfer is not permanent, Aidoo will be greatful and grab opportunity with both hands.

Valladolid coach Diego Cocca expressed his desire to have the Ghanaian international and he also noted that they will monitor his progress closely.

Cocca said ”Aidoo did it in fits and starts, playing more in the Cup at Celta Vigo. We will see how they are and then we will make decisions.”

Cocca went to emphasize that he had chance to ingadge with him some few days and believes that the young man is ready to compete.

He said “I had the chance to speak with him a few days ago and he comes to compete, already convinced that he can do it, he added. We will try to make those who come do so with that mentality.”

Valladolid coach highlighted that their aim is to strengthen all departments and make team more competitive.

Cocca said “I focus on the day to day, and more on this project. We want to have a good winter market, but it is difficult. I am positive and I think we are going to achieve it to strengthen the team.

“The priority is to reinforce with players who give us characteristics that we do not have. We have to be intelligent, coherent and look for the best for the team.”

Cocca together with his troops will be hoping to make things happen when they will be up against Villarreal on Saturday 1st February for La Liga and kickoff set at 17:15.
