As the fight escalate in Republic Of Democratic Congo, between the soldiers of Congo and group of rebels called M23.
Up to soo far it is unknown for how many lives have been lost in this war. But it is reported that 13 soldiers from SANDF have passed away.
Early on this week Minister of SANDF revealed that all is well for the soldiers but later on she was attacked by EFF Member of Parliament.
Rwandan president Paul Kagame revealed that South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has never warned them about the war that is occurring in Congo.
Instead, he asked Rwanda for help with basic needs like food, water, and power for South African troops.
Kagame said “What has been said about these conversations in the media by South African officials and President Ramaphosa himself contains a lot of distortion, deliberate attacks, and even lies.

“If words can change so much from a conversation to a public statement, it says a lot about how these very important issues are being managed.”
According to the leaders from Rwanda, South Africa’s mission in Congo (SAMIDRC) is not there to keep peace. Instead, it’s a fighting force sent by Southern African countries that works with armed groups that want to harm Rwanda, like the FDLR.
Kagame went on to emphasize that SAMIDRC pushed out the East African Community’s peace force, which was actually trying to help both sides talk. He added that Ramaphosa himself told him that M23 didn’t kill the South African soldiers – it was Congo’s own army (FARDC) that did it.
He said “What makes this worse is that South Africa sent its troops to Congo to fight, not to keep peace. Rwanda thinks this was a bad move that messed up chances for peace talks that East African countries were trying to arrange.”
Kagame made it clear that Rwanda won’t back down. He said if South Africa wants to fight, Rwanda will fight back. This tough talk shows just how serious this problem has become.
He said “Ramaphosa actually told him it was Congo’s own army that killed the South African soldiers, not M23 rebels.”
If the fight doesn’t resolved as early as possible it might affect more especially Central Africa as they might fail to export their minerals.
