Monnapule Saleng made appearance on Bafana Bafana color during CHAN qualifier against Egypt at Toyota Stadium week ago.
Ahead of the second leg of Bafana Bafana Chan qualifier against Egypt, Saleng was part of the players who were released by camp.
After his departure from Bafana camp, Saleng was not part of Orlando Pirates squad that faced Supersport United over the weekend for Nedbank Cup Quaterfinal.
Now Player’s agent Casisa has suggested how he thought the system/contract draft needed to change.
Casisa said “Unless you’ve got to buy our clause in your contract or a fixed transfer fee, then literally, they’ve got clubs with Carte Blanche in terms of what they can ask for in transfer fees.
“I think player negotiations or player transfers would be a lot more structured [and] easier if we do away with the options. There’s no such thing as options in rugby. You work for two or three years, then that’s it.”

Towards his conclusion Casisa condemned how clubs treat players once they(Clubs) have learned that player wants out.
He said “What clubs do when players don’t want to commit to a new contract is put them out of the team, where they are not allowed to play or train, which I think is ridiculous!”
Casisa wrapped up his statement by emphasizing that why pay player but refuses him to leave.
He said “At the end of the day, you’re paying this player to be on holiday; no, he’s here to do his job. If he wants to go to another club, then so be it.”
We are still waiting to see if Saleng will be part of the team/ squad that will take Stellenbosch FC tomorrow evening for Betway Premiership.
