According to SAPS statement: The Provincial Commissioner of the Free State, Lieutenant General Baile Motswenyane, accompanied by her deputies and members of the SAPS provincial management team, will officially launch the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children campaign.
The Provincial Commissioner invites members of the media to the event, where she will emphasize that crimes against vulnerable groups will not be tolerated, echoing the stance expressed by the President of South Africa, Honourable Cyril Ramaphosa, in his government address.
Lieutenant General Motswenyane also anticipates participation from several government departments, including the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), the Department of Education, the Department of Social Development, the Department of Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation, as well as the Mayor of the Moqhaka Local Municipality.
