Few hours later after statement made by coach, club confirmed the sad news regarding their management.
The club released a statement that confirms that vice president Juli Guiu has resigned from his position at the club in the latest drama to hit the Catalans.
A club statement reads as follows: “FC Barcelona informs that Juli Guiu has submitted his irrevocable resignation as Vice President of the Marketing Area for personal reasons.
“The Club would like to thank Juli Guiu for his services and dedication to the institution since joining the Board of Directors in 2021, in which he has been a fundamental part of the agreements with FC Barcelona’s major partners in recent years.”
This is a huge blow to the as they might further experience the lack of financial and some sponsors might also pull off.
Laporta also appears to have upset members of the RFEF with his behaviour at the Spanish Super Cup and could potentially be in hot water for his antics at the game.
