Two suspect arrested in Gauteng and One arrested in East London

On a statement released by South African Police Services yesterday, three people were arrested due to involvement of taxi murdering.

The suspects are linked to a crime scene that occurred in October and November 2024, where two taxi owners, a taxi driver and member of taxi association were gunned down.

SAPS made a move on two suspects at Mall of Africa in Midrand, Johannesburg on Friday 8th November while other suspect was arrested in East London on Saturday 9th November.

Other four suspects are taken into a custody for a further questioning as they all were spotted on the footage that was trending on social media platforms.

According to the SAPS statement they managed to seize four pistons and an AKA47 from the suspects. The guns are taken to determine if they are linked into any other murders and any other serious and violence crime.

They also noted that they are still continuing with their private investigation and they will not give any update/comment.
