SAPS under Mopani District announced that they have arrested a female suspect aged 62 year old who murdered 82 year old pensioner.
The 62 year-old was arrested on Friday 8th November around 18:00 after killing her neighbor for greating her visitors.
The incident occurred in (Tzaneen) Bolobedu village called Mpoye and Police where informed and rushed into the scene.
Upon their arrival they were taken to the deceased body of elderly woman who was lying inside the pool of blood.
The members of Emergency Medical Service(EMS) were also called in to check if the lady is alive or not but they announced that she(82 year old) passed away.
South African Police Services revealed that deceased was hit multiple times on the forehead by sharp object.
What lead to the disaster is that, the 82 year-old lady visited her neighbor’s residence to greet people who were inside of the yard of the suspect.
Unfortunately, she was attacked and brutally murdered by a 62 year-old female suspect. The suspect was immediately arrested at the scene and she is expected to appear on court today (Monday, 11th November) at Bolobedu magistrate facing charge of murder.
Limpopo’s commission of Police Lieutenant General Monica Thembi Hadebe urged society to protect women and children against abuse.
