“MEC Limpopo Department of Rural Development and Agrarian Reform (LDRAD), at the INSETA EventProgramme Director, Leadership of INSETA.
“Distinguished Guests, Ladies and Gentlemen, And most importantly, our young people, It is both a privilege and a responsibility to stand before you today.
“We are here not just to talk about skills, but to talk about legacy, what kind of economy, what kind of society, and what kind of future we are building for generations to come.
“INSETA, as the Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority, has proven that focused, strategic investment in skills can transform industries.
“But we must look beyond just economic sectors as we must look at communities. We must look at potential. And in Limpopo, that potential is in agriculture.
“Ke nyaka go bolela ka taba ye e bohlokwa kudu, taba ya go hlahlama bokgoni mo baneng ba rena, kudu-godimo basadi ba bafsa, le go bona temo bjalo ka motheo wa ekonomi ya rena mo Limpopo.

“Young people, I say this with the deepest conviction: if you want a future with dignity, direction, and independence, go into agricultural production completely.
“Don’t wait for land to come to you. Learn the business, understand the soil, build your networks, and use the skills platforms like INSETA to sharpen your competitive edge.
“Re nyaka basadi ba bafsa ba ba šomišago dihohle tša bona mo temong, e le balemi, beng ba mafelo, beng ba dikgwebo, le bašomi ba theknoloji.

“Limpopo has the soil, the climate, and the culture of farming excellence. But we need skilled hands and sharp minds.
“That is why(decided to come here) and we say, skills development is not an option but it is a necessity.
“Through partnerships with INSETA, with TVET colleges, with industry players and NGOs, we can ensure that the future farmer is a young, skilled, black woman, not just working the land but owning it.
“To the youth who have managed to come here today, I say: le na le maatla, le na le bokgoni—re le thekga!
“Let agriculture be the field where you grow your wealth, your confidence, and your communities.
“We as the Limpopo Department of Rural Development and Agrarian Reform are here to support your journey, through training, mentorship, and real opportunities.
