Earlier on today the mayor of Capricorn District Municipality took a ride to Maja Royal House after the death of Queen.
Capricorn District Municipality confirmed that indeed their mayor is/was present at the memorial service of Cecil Maja.

The Capricorn District Municipality Executive Mayor, Cllr. Mamedupi Teffo, has extended heartfelt condolences to the Maja Royal Family following the passing of Kgoshi Cecil Maja.
She visited the family today[Mayor miss teffo was spotted in the memorial service], 10 February 2026.
She was accompanied by Infrastructure MMC Cllr. Monica Mohale, the local Councillor, and Municipal Manager Ramakuntwane Selepe.
The delegation offered support to the family and the Maja community during this difficult time.
Kgoshi Cecil Maja passed away last week at the age of 85 and will be laid to rest on Saturday, 14 February 2026.
