A normal celebration for the Grade 12 learners across the country has now been labeled as a dangerous celebration.
In the past years South African grade 12 learners used to celebrate #Pens Down as they finished their final exams.
To some it is the way to release their stress of minding about how they wrote their exams and to some it is way to say goodbye to their classmates.
The same celebration that was used to be enjoyed now it is not allowed according to the Education department.
Here is the statement released by department of Education:
NB: Some of the learners have been under pressure throughout their matric journey[ learning].
Note: Some of the learners are using this opportunity to take out their angers towards other learners due to their previous conflict.
