South African Government urged drivers to avoid driving reckless

Every December festival season South Africa keeps on registering high numbers of motor vehicle accident.

Already this December festival alone on National Road[N1] has recorded the most disaster accidents.

Every day across the different roads in South Africa people keeps on losing their lives due to road accident.

Now the government of the country has issued a stern warning to all motorists to be extra cautious when they drive.

Here is the statement released by Government:

A reminder that road safety requires ongoing commitment from all of us. Road users are urged to avoid speeding, reckless overtaking, drunk driving and distracted driving, especially using mobile phones while driving.

NB: Most of the accidents during this festival season are usually caused by the drink and drive while others are caused by those who drink and walk around the busy streets.

Note: Other accidents in South Africa roads are caused by the people who drive while chatting on their phones.

Meanwhile other’s are caused by not respecting each other (road rages) on the roads and by not following the rules of the road.
