Wednesday, 8 October 2025As part of October Transport Month, outstanding learners from all nine provinces have gathered at the City of Tswane Council Chamber for the prestigious National Road Safety Participatory Educational Techniques and Debate Competitions.
Organized by the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) in partnership with the National Department of Transport, this event brings together passionate and articulate young minds to tackle pressing road safety challenges and solutions, with a focus on youth-driven change.
This year’s debate topics are sure to spark insightful discussions:- “Road Safety Education is a better instrument than law enforcement to change road user behaviour.”
– “Distracted driving is a growing South African epidemic.”
Let’s rally behind our young road safety advocates as they hone their public speaking, research, and analytical skills.
The stakes are high, and the future of road safety is in their hands! Winners will be announced on Friday, 10 October 2025.
Department has urged all Limpopo’s sectors to show support to the learners who are going to participate in this Debate.
