Mofutsanyana SAPS raised awareness about human trafficking during this month of 16 days Against GBV

The Thabo Mofutsanyana District SAPS Social Crime Prevention Coordinator, Sergeant Phutsisi, together with the Thabo Mofutsanyana District Community Police Forum Secretary, Mrs. Mampe Mole, joined forces with Ficksburg CPF, Gift of the Givers and the Mary Raletooane Foundation to raise awareness on the #16DaysOfActivism for No Violence Against Women and Children.

The awareness campaign began on 3 December 2025 at 10:00, where the team distributed pamphlets on GBV, Sexual Offences, Domestic Violence, Human Trafficking and Assault Common.

These activities form part of the ongoing Safer Festive Season police operations, which will continue until the end of January next year.

Awareness campaigns will be rolled out throughout the festive season by Community Police Forums across the district, targeting various policing precincts within the 31 police stations.

As part of the outreach, the team also recognized people living with disabilities, children, and the broader community by handing out sanitary towels and food items.
