Confederation of African Football have announced the group stages of CAF inter competition

South Africa will be represented by one club at CAF Champions League in this season of 2025/2026.

Mamelodi Sundowns continues to represent the South Africa as well as SADC region in this years competition.

Masandawana have booked their place at group stages after defeating the Nigerian side Remo Stars on two legged fixtures.

The first fixture Tshwane giants emerged as victories by 5-1 and the Second leg Brazilan won the fixture by 2-0 to make it 7-1 in aggregate score.

Earlier on today CAF have announced the group and the clubs from those groups, where the South African is being paired on group C.

Meanwhile other two South African teams[Kaizer Chiefs and Stellenbosch]from CAF Confederation Cup have also learned their fade ahead of Group Stages fixtures.

Note: The last time the South African team wins the CAF inter clubs competition it was back in 2016 when Sundowns became the Champs after defeating Egptian giants Zamalek.
