According to SAPS statement: The intensive investigation by members attached to the Prince Albert police into the death of Anna Abrahams (55), whose body was discovered at Prince Albert during February 2012, resulted in success when 20 years imprisonment was meted against Shaun Keyser (28) at Oudtshoorn on Monday, 10 November 2025.
In an unrelated murder case, on Thursday, 06 November 2025 the Regional Court in Be, aufort West meted a 30 years and 20 years imprisonment on Glenville Van der Westhuizen (40) on charges of murder and attempted murder.
Investigation into the death of Pieter Pienaar (40) revealed, on 24 January 2025 police attended to an incident at Church Street, Beaufort West.
On arrival(South African police) they found a man with stab wounds to the stomach and chest. He was declared dead on scene.
A woman(victim was on the scene with perpetrator) was also found with head injuries inflicted with a blunt object.
The suspect was arrested on scene and a hammer(object used) with blood stains was found on scene.
