Every year the South African roads records a high number of vehicles travelling from different areas to another.
As such some of the driver’s tend to panic and end up being involved on the Road across the country.
Even though some of the families/ friends have lost their lives, Department of Transport and Community Safety have taken measures to ensures the safety.
Some of the province have already started with the campaign as they try to reduce the high number of accidents.
Limpopo like Mpumalanga is one of those two countries that will register high volume of vehicles pass through the province.
The Department has also ensured that they will also deploy the traffic officers alongside the busy road National Roads[N1 and other roads within the country].
Amongst the other task that are going to be performed is check if the vehicle are road worthy and make sure that vehicles don’t overload.
Earlier on this month Democratic Alliance has urged the mayor of Johannesburg to prioritise the safety of roads to avoid high number of accidents.
NB: Thousands of the lives are lost every festival seasons across the South Africa due to the road accidents.
Amongst those things that cause those accidents include the drink and drive, drive while on the phone call/chat and driving long distance without rest.
