The Ministry of Police, led by the Acting Minister, Mr Firoz Cachalia, will undertake stakeholder engagements in the Eastern Cape as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen collaborative measures to combat crime and improve #CommunitySafety.
During the engagements, the Ministry will meet with, among others, the Mayors of the respective municipalities, Members of the Executive Council (MECs) responsible for community safety and policing, representatives of Community Policing Forums (CPFs), and the business sector.
These engagements form part of government’s commitment to fostering partnerships with key stakeholders in the fight against crime.
