South African Weather Service has warned public about the possible storms

Other parts of the country has been experiencing the high volumes of rainfall since the start of this year.

Meanwhile other areas/provinces were impacted by those rainfall and some lives have been lost along the incident.

The South African Weather Service earlier on today have issued a warning regarding the possibility of storms and thundershowers at some parts of the country.

Here is the statement released by weather service:

Weather forecast for today and tomorrow, 20-21 February 2026:
Partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers Severe Thunderstorms.

NB: Some of the areas in South Africa have been experiencing the lack of water within their communities and some even took weeks, months and years without water.

Note: After such heavy rainfall that took place in mid January, areas such as Soshanguve, mabopane, tembisa and others at other provinces are struggling with water.
