Ndala refereed the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final in January 2026 between Senegal and Morocco, which was marred by chaos, including a Senegalese player walk-off in protest of his decisions.

He was accused of biased officiating, specifically regarding a VAR-reviewed penalty awarded to Morocco.
