As the high number of unemployment keeps on increasing, some of the people [thieves/scammers] target the social grand beneficiaries.
In the past years, Social grand beneficiaries were complaining about not receiving their money into their account.
But today the SASSA page has announced that CEO is amongst those who went to oversee what is happening in Rustenburg Local Office.
Here is the statement released by Department:
SASSA CEO Mr. Themba Matlou* is currently on the ground conducting an oversight visit at the Rustenburg Local Office.
At the heart of our mission is ensuring that our core business providing social grants is handled with the utmost diligence and care. Mr. Matlou’s visit reinforces our commitment to ensuring that every beneficiary is supported and receives the high-quality service they deserve.
Note: Even up to this date, they are some sassa beneficiaries whom their cards are still on the hands of Local loan sharks.
Some of those sharks took the ID of the beneficiary and ended up taking some loan under their name[SASSA beneficiary].
