After 16 years without competing with best countries and players at the largest stage of all, Bafana Bafana managed to secure spot in the world cup.
The last time South African senior football club took part in the World Cup was back in 2010, where they were host nation.
Back before 2010 World Cup Bafana Bafana was also part of the World Cup of 1997 where they past Group stages.
Bafana Bafana are still expected to submit their final 26 squad man that will represent South African in this year edition.
Huge Bross and Helmen Mkhele have serious job/task to do when they select players from their preliminary squad.
It is expected that South Africa should play their last international friendly before they head to USA, Mexico and Canada.
On their friendly international they are high possibilities that Mamelodi Sundowns players might not be available.
This comes after when Sundowns players reached their CAF Champions League final and on the other hand they(Sundowns) have friendly game against RB Lipzeig from Germany.
