According to Municipality statement: Polokwane Municipality joins the Maloba and Mampshika families, along with the broader community, in honouring the lives and legacies of Mr Mpho Godfrey Maloba and Ms Dimakatso Mampshika.
A joint memorial service is currently underway at Jack Botes Hall as colleagues, friends, and loved ones come together in solemn remembrance.
Mr Maloba worked as a labourer under Water and Sanitation based in Ladanna Waste Treatment.
He is fondly remembered as an individual who had jokes and reserved by those who worked closely with him.
Ms Mampshika worked as a labourer in Water and Sanitation,based in Mankweng waste water treatment.
She was fondly remembered as an individual who was a hard worker and prayer warrior.
Both deceased colleagues served the Water and Sanitation unit, where they played a vital role in ensuring water provision to the communities.
They are remembered as committed and compassionate workers who served their community with pride.
As we gather to reflect on their contributions, colleagues are sharing heartfelt memories and offering words of comfort and support to the bereaved families.
