SAPS held meeting at Elegant Ranch Protea Hotel in Polokwane to find solutions police encounter

According to SAPS statement: Today at the elegant Ranch Protea Hotel Golf Club in Polokwane, the South African Police Service (SAPS) comes together not merely for a game of golf, but for a cause that lies close to the heart of every officer in blue.

This inaugural Provincial Commissioner’s Golf Charity Event stands as a solemn yet inspiring occasion uniting the Acting Deputy National Commissioner for HRM, Lieutenant General L. Nkhuoa, alongside Divisional and Provincial Commissioners, sponsors, and members of the broader SAPS family.

Together, they honour the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our communities.

Through the SAPS National Charity Golf Day, SAPS raise vital funds for the SAPS Education Trust Fund (SAPSET) a beacon of hope that ensures the children of our fallen heroes receive the education, care, and opportunities they deserve.

Since its inception in 2019, 49 children from Limpopo have already benefited from SAPSET’s support.

Today, we renew our pledge to expand that legacy to open more doors, light more paths, and ensure that no child of a fallen officer walks alone.

For the fallen, we[South African Police Service]play. For their children, we build. For our future, we stand together.
