The Limpopo Education Department convened a workshop on appointments and delegations at Bolivia Lodge, bringing together key stakeholders to strengthen human resource and governance within the department.
Led by HoD Maropene Seshibe, the stakeholders included representatives from the Office of the Premier, labour unions, members of the Public Service Commission, School Governing Body (SGB) associations, departmental officials and all Senior Management Service (SMS) members led by Deputy Directors-General and District Directors.
Held at Bolivia’s Limpopo Hall, the workshop focused on addressing serious and fundamental issues relating to human resource practices, particularly in matters of recruitment and selection, with the aim of strengthening accountability, transparency and compliance in the appointment processes across the department.
SMS members and all in attendance were refreshed on the importance of declaring their interests and procedure to follow when one ventures into a remunerative work.
This years quotes/motivation goeas as the following “A Year of Transformation and Development.”
